Just a minute’s walk from Market Square in Salisbury’s city centre, the Craft Bar at the Salisbury Arms is a family run business offering a welcoming atmosphere, delicious street food, craft beer and cocktails.
Requirement
Atlas Contract Furniture was contacted by Will Brown, the landlord of the Craft Bar, with a requirement for banquette seating for the bar’s refurbishment.
The bar is set in a historical building, with decor that blends its traditional features with modern design to create a stylish and comfortable home-from-home for their patrons. The decision to refurbish the interior design of the pub echoed these sentiments. While the space needed to be refreshed, it was imperative that its new design is in keeping with the age of the building, with subtle contemporary twists and plenty of comforts.
What we did
The Craft Bar wanted to increase the amount of fixed seating around the perimeter to provide patrons with more seating, but also to soften the area and add comfort. We worked with the client to design seating styles which offered simplicity and comfort, and would complement the traditional features of the interiors design. When the decision was made, it was decided that we would choose a mixture of the plain and deep button back seats in a Skai Malone Faux Leather. The understated design of the banquette seating was perfectly paired with chunky solid wood tables and stools to achieve a clean yet rustic look.
Result
Will is delighted with the new look of the Craft Bar, and so are his clients. In particular, the back area of the bar features a 5-meter run of poseur heigh seats which are an immediate attraction. The earthy brown tones perfectly complement the forest green decor, creating a warm and relaxed environment for customers to enjoy.
