Supplying contract furniture for England Rugby in preparation for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Requirement
England Rugby required numerous hospitality suites for their VIP ticket holders visiting stadiums across the country. Working with Pulse Group, we produced the furniture for the VIP Lounge at Twickenham.
Each hospitality suite had been designed with its own unique look, but still retained a consistent theme across all venues. It was essential that we fulfilled the interior design brief to the very last detail.
The seating had to be comfortable and provide an area for ticket holders to relax before and after matches. Most importantly the upholstery, finish and quality of the furniture had to be flawless in order to fulfil the luxurious vibe of a VIP lounge.
What we did
The lounge had a contemporary finish with an opulent appearance through the light blues and oak which provided a subtle canvas for the rich navy deep button panelling and walnut walls.
The suite’s layout consisted of low deep square pleated benches in a soft grey that complemented the pastel armchairs, grey-wash wood effect flooring and mid-century wooden coffee tables.
The venue takes advantage of light tones in order to create the illusion of space and make it feel fresh and airy. Overall, the space maintains a level of luxuriousness despite the understated colours and creates a casual atmosphere that is perfect for socialising. It’s an ideal venue to enjoy rugby as a VIP.
Result
We were delighted to provide the seating for the Rugby World Cup and to create an eye-catching venue that creates a deluxe experience for the VIPs but maintains the essence of a comforting environment where VIPs can relax and socialise.
