A vibrant bar and restaurant venue situated in the heart of Southampton’s nightlife scene, Orange Rooms is a retro-inspired social spot where people can get together and enjoy signature cocktails while being entertained by some quality live acts.
Requirement
We were contacted by Orange Rooms to come up with a curved seating design that complemented the club’s retro vibe and quirky style. Better known as their ‘Cassette Booths’, the curved seated booths are the prime areas for guests to be in the mix of lively scenes on a Saturday night.
What we did
It was important that the design be retro, durable, comfortable and make good use of the space available. We designed and installed four new large fluted back booth seating areas, to match decor design. We used a light cream faux leather to maintain a clean, fresh modern look with a dark wood plinth that matched the venues flooring and table tops. What’s a nightclub without funky lighting? We installed yellow LED strip lighting around the base of the seating to add ambience to private booth areas.
Result
Orange Rooms were delighted with their new retro-inspired fixed booth seating. It perfectly complements the decor of the venue as well as provide ample seating for large groups to enjoy.
