Tiien Thai has three restaurants in the Bournemouth area, offering an authentic Thai dining experience.
Requirement
The restaurant owner’s contacted Atlas Contract Furniture to assist with the design and planning for the restaurant's new furniture. The popular Thai restaurant needed to make good use of the available space, as well as creating more intimate dining areas for guests to enjoy.
What we did
The restaurant has a segmented layout so we installed plain, high rise back bench seating in a warm natural brown upholstery that complemented the candle feature wall, dark wooden table tops and woven loose chairs. In another area of the restaurant, with light coloured walls and flooring, we designed curved booth seating with a light oak base. The natural tones and wooden textures all combine beautifully to deliver a light and spacious feel. The client hung nets from the overhead lampshades to create a tent-like dining experience. We not only supplied bespoke banquette seating but also provided loose pieces of furniture such as tables and screens.
Result
The client was very pleased with the end result where bench seating has made good use of space and curved booth seating a unique dining option to their clients. The curved tent-like booths have proven to be very popular!
